Shaking head? Help?

Is anyone else’s 9/10mo shaking their head? My girl has started just shaking her head like she’s saying no but not quite randomly. She’ll look up a bit and just shake her head. My dad said when I was little I would do this as soon as I learnt how to, but it just seems she does it at random times. Sometimes when tired? She’s learnt loads of new skills in the past week or so and seems to have perfected most quickly but this one still seems so random and almost tic like?

Mine did this at 8ish months but seems to have stopped now!

@Amy was it like it was a shake for no or just random shaking? My LG seems to do it really quickly frantically but randomly like there’s no purpose to it 🤔

@Francheska it’s normal don’t worry, my girl does this all the time she finds it funny 🤣

It's definitely just a new skill. Do it to her and see if she'll copy you. The day my baby first did this I then started doing yes and nodding and no and shaking, 2 days later she started nodding too. But nodding is much harder and can take a while for them to get.

I’d say just practicing a new skill! Mine has learned to point and she does it all the time 😁

Haha yes the little head wiggle! I think my LO does it on purpose, he laughs when he sees us do it then does it himself again
