In early labour !

I started having constant braxton hicks this morning and then had a bloody show. From around 12 they started picking up to more painful contractions lasting 40s every 3 mins. During this time I hadn’t felt baby move as much so I came in for monitoring. I’m in so much pain and have been for 6 hours but just found out I’m only 1-2cm dilated! I’ve been given a couple pills as pain meds as I’m struggling to breathe through them now. This process feels like it’s going to be long?? 😭😩

Do your best to stay active and moving to help you dilate You got this !

You got this , my labour was 3 days + until baby was born, it can be a long process

Thank you both, now can’t wait to get that epidural 😅

U got this girl - Try stay active to get things moving, I know it's hard - feels worse cuz of how long it is. But I promise youll think the pain was 10000% worth it, when your holding your little one 🩵🩷 Take a contraction at a time rather than a hour or day at a time 💪🏼💪🏼xx

A good way of looking at it, thank you 🥰

God I know it’s so painful to move around BUT this will help move things along!! GOODLUCK 🤍🙏🏽

Best of luckkkk!!!! You’ve got this 🙌🏽🙌🏽

I felt like that and my baby was back to back… would not recommend. My contractions became unbearable and irregular 😭 almost constant for no reason. Anyway, hope that’s not your case and don’t forget to drink water like I did :(

Squeezing a comb helped me through the pain

Had to check in - how u coping Mamma? Hope everything is going well 🩷🩷

Thanks everyone. It ended up being a quick active labour and baby boy was born at 2:54 this morning 🩵
