The other night when I was putting my daughter to bed she randomly gasps and says “Moana find him, Maui!” And “Moana open eyes!” She loves Moana and loves to talk😅♥️
She's starting to use a lot of her words flexibly in sentences now like being able to say whose turn it is "Mommy's turn," "Daddy's turn," "my turn," etc. or who should do something "Grandma do it," "Grandpa do it," etc. She loves to tack no onto her sentences 🤣 like "no, mine!" Or to tell the dog to go to her crate "no, JoJo, puppy jail!" She sometimes thinks she should reuse the word "jail" and says things like "baby jail" but we keep trying to remind her there is no baby jail 🤦🏻♀️
@JL 😭 this makes me sad since I have no village my son only knows mama and dada. But he thinks all men are called dada. At first I thought it was cuz he didn’t know his dad’s face well enough but realized he’s just trying to identify people. 😭 we don’t even have a pet smhhhh. That’s great though!!
@KK oh no, girl, don't be sad 💔 Villages are hard these days. We have my parents who show up but my ILs barely ever see our kid or check in. You'll build your village. We slowly built ours too - our paid village (daycare teachers), a friend I made here on Peanut, some neighbors with similar age kids, and the few friends we have who have kids now. It's so hard though with everyone so busy these days and everyone at different life stages. And if you keep it small, that's totally ok too because having parents who love them means so much to these kids! I definitely recommend a pet though because sometimes it helps to have another creature to entertain them 😆
my son doesn’t quit talking 😂😂😂 “mama come back” “mama left” “let’s get home” “flamingo riding a bike” “go for a walk” “let’s go outside” “come on boys” “get ready for bed” “so much sugar” “give baby a hug” a lot of 3 word sentences but sometimes he’ll do 5!
For the first time tonight my girl said “I need help mama” 🥹
