Symptoms
Not sure if my son has CMPA or not. Those of you who have had your babies diagnosed with the allergy what are the symptoms ? Typically my baby is a chill baby unless he’s hungry or over tired. But since about 2 weeks old(he’s now 9 weeks old) he has spit up soo much like I have to change his outfits so often thru the day. He usually is pretty gassy, has been constipated for the last 2 weeks unless I give him lactulose & his poop has “yellow seeds” in it which I’ve looked up is in digested milk and seems to be what CMPA poop looks like. Any opinions appreciated!

My baby had blood in the stool. 4 months. I breastfed and everytime I ate dairy she had it. No other symptoms- no colic, skin, crying etc. it was very shocking
@PeachyQueen no he’s not breastfed, he’s formula fed, Enfamil gentlease. I know spit up is normal for newborns but it’s a very large amount most of every time he eats. The only rash he has is under his neck from spitting up so much
@Roz he’s not breastfed but also doesn’t have any other symptoms besides lots of spit up and constipation

is he breastfed? Breastfed babies always have yellow poop with “seeds” in it, that’s normal and expected of them. Spitting up is normal unless it’s a really huge amount. Does he have any rash at all?
