Did anyone had the copper coil iud after c-section? I just had mine and it feels like stinging around the c-section area is this normal?

I didn’t get it right away. My first pregnancy was c section my second was vbac and then I had an iud. But stinging is normal. When did you have your c section

Just make sure you ain’t allergic to copper as I know some people can be
Im having mine put in during my c section. Following as slightly nervous. Ive had one previously put in but the conventional way with no issues. My worry is, if it placed differently what with my uterus obviously not being back to normal at the time, will it feel different. Did anyone else have the copper coil placed during their c section.

I had mine put in during my section. I never had any stinging but I get bad cramps every now and then which I've put down to the coil
