In the same boat as you. He knows what words mean he just won't say them out loud and girl I'm stressed 😫

Me too, he won’t ask for anything but knows many words.

Yes! The closer to his second birthday it gets, the more I stress out. He follows directions, he babbles all the time, and he signs well enough but no words.

We have speech twice a month but I think we are up to 5 words consistently and another 5 inconsistently. He also knows the sign for more and we are working on help

Mine also barely says anything but understands it all - I console myself that I’ve never met an adult in the workplace who picks up the phone and says “babababa” 😂 they’ll get there in the end! X

He says hi, buh bye, and I think I've heard him say dog or doggy

And he'll be 22 months on the 21st

@Steffani My son says a good bit of words now than he did months ago, but there are a lot of words he knows that he doesn't say so he does not quite talk clear enough than I thought he would by now. He is 3 months from being 2, so 21 months. And I really thought he would be speaking more, his pediatrician says he is fine and she will see how well he talks after he turns 2 before putting him in speech therapy.
