Walking
Is there any little ones (born July 2023) still not walking?
Our little girl still isn’t walking. She would rather walk on her knees. She pulls herself up on furniture and she will walk if she holds our hands or a walker but not without.
The HV has referred us but it’s an 8 month wait apparently so just wondering if anyone else’s little one is the same?

My little girl was the exact same until about three weeks ago. She was a late walker but very good with her speech, I always tried not to worry but naturally you do! She would walk with a walker and go steps to me and her dad (she stopped doing that for a while). When we would ask her to do her steps she just ask us to walk with her holding her hand. I never put pressure on her, but my childminder and mum always heavily pushed it on her. My work week fluctuates and three weeks ago I had a busy work week where my little girl was being baby sat for three twelve hour shifts. When I got home she had just started walking on her own. I couldn’t believe it, it happened so quickly. Personally, I think she could do it for a long time, but I gave her too much of a comfort space to continue crawling as I never pushed her. It will come try not to worry I think sometimes they just like their safe zone. X
