Just clean it with warm damp cotton pads, it’ll resolve on its own
My little one has this in both eyes since he was born. Midwife said it's just blocked tear ducts. I've been cleaning it a few times a day & rubbing a bit of breastmilk over the eyes if you're breastfeeding helps too xx
Breastmilk and cotton buds/pads do the trick ☺️ x
My boys all had, current baby included. We were cleaning it and using breast milk on it but we did get it swabbed and it was bacterial so got eyedrops for it x
My baby has it too. 3 weeks now and it is starting to resolve. Just clean it so it doesn't turn a spot for bacteria and massage the sides of the nose where the duct is so you will unblock it.
My first had it in both eyes. One cleared up around 6 months. The other cleared up around 13 months (we had literally just taken her to an initial eye doctor appointment to look at intervention as it kept getting infected and the GP kept sending us to A&E, then the next morning we woke up and it was gone). At one point we went to eye A&E and they showed us how to massage it properly, which we didn’t know how to do but that also helped.
Yeah my little one has it, had antibiotic cream at 1 week old for both eyes and one fully cleared up the other is still slightly sticky now at 5 weeks but has cleared up a lot
