Cervix closed

Mine was completely closed with my first right up until I got induced at 41 weeks!

No cervical changes at all at 37 weeks. Softening but still fully thick and closed at 38 weeks. Soft, thick, and 1cm at my 39 week induction appt.

Was only checked at 39 weeks and was already 2cm who knows for how long it had been like it though 😆 still didn’t go in to Labour till I was induced at 41weeks

Closed until about a day before I gave birth. I also only got checked at 40 weeks because they where giving me a sweep, I dont think regular cervix checks are done here.

I got the lightening crotch too but remained closed until 41weeks where I had a failed induction then emergency c section

maybe 38 weeks ?

Mine wasn’t open on the morning of the day I went into labour.

Mine was pretty much closed until I got induced at 39+6weeks

40 weeks

Just been for a sweep with my 2nd, 39weeks and I'm very soft, still closed but 1cm dilated! And baby is sitting very low! I didn't take raspberry tea/dates/pineapple or do nipple stimulation last time! So I'm going to put it down to them!

Apparently that feeling I've been having that feels like someone pressing on a bruise was lightening!
