Finding friends

I have a hard time meeting anyone that’s actually close enough to where I live to be friends irl

@Mariah I understand that! Far away friends are possible too though. No one seems interested in conversation or actually connecting. In my opinion. I don't understand why 🙃

For me, I am shy with new people when it comes to voice or video conversations. I’m totally open to and comfortable with msging and talking about whatever and getting to know people. But get really anxious if they want to video chat or whatever. Until I actually feel like I know them. I’m actually better at meeting irl than video chat oddly enough lol anyways not sure my point besides I def want friends and to connect but sometimes my nerves get in the way

@Mariah absolutely agree! I'm the same way video is more personal. I understand not wanting to do that yet. But if one is reaching out, you're waving to each other but you just ignore them or the small talk is awkward. Idk it just doesn't make sense. At least try that's what this app is for and it's very downing when I myself don't have many friends at all and I'm trying to be open and find some ya know. 🥴
