I heard from the Wales one within a week x

I got a letter saying I need to wait until 31 days before I go back to.work

They're not entitled to it until the term after they turn 9 months and you apply within the time frame for that term. My baby was born on 21st October 2024 so won't be entitled to it until September 2025. So you apply in time for the September term.

Following : My baby was born on 13th October, I am due to go back to work before the 30th September and he will also start nursery then, let’s say 22nd September he will go nursery. Does anyone know when I should apply for my code? X

I tried the same and it just says pending I don’t think you can do anything until you are due back to work within 31 days so I am due back 10/9 so will apply 10/8 x

I applied when the website told me which was when he was 23 weeks. I was given his 30 hours free code to give to the nursery. I have to wait till I'm back at work to get the child tax free childcare where you save up to £2000 a year. For every £8 you pay the government pays £2.

@Maliha how did you get the code? When are you due back to work? Mine is still pending as I don’t go back till September?!

Code is given to you but won't work until the term baby turns 9 months. For child tax free childcare where you get up to £2000 off a year that will start when you go back to work
