is this normal

i’ve been weaning my 7 month old properly for a couple weeks now, before she just wouldn’t take it anything now she has a good few spoonfuls. She’s had porridge, veg, weetabix and i’ve done dairy, gluten, peanut allergens. Today i decided to start her with 2 meals and gave her a lidl spaghetti bolognaise sachet, so would be her first taste of meat and she ate a decent amount probably a quarter of the sachet thing but half an hour later she’s thrown it up. She is never sick after milk anymore and it’s very smelly sick not like milk sick. Is this normal?

It’s probably half digested spag bol. Has she had any meat before?

@Elaine no she hasn’t, do you think that’s why?

I have noticed that since my 10 month old has started eating food her puke no longer smells milky it smells like an adult has just puked out food. So I think the smelly sick is normal.

You've probably increased by too much too quickly, she might only be ready for one meal a day. I wouldn't stress at this point ☺️

Maybe stick to one meal a day for now .

You do sometimes get bad pouches. Eat it yourself. If it doesn't taste like bland but ok food, it may have been a bad pouch.

@𝔾𝕚𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖 formula fed, okay i will do thank you x

thank you all, i’ll stick to only breakfast for a couple days then introduce dinner slowly not a large amount xxx
