Natural miscarriage

I’ve had a natural miscarriage on Sunday went to EPU on Monday who confirmed it was complete but I’m still in a lot of pain and heavy bleeding. I’ve got shooting pains through my bottom and it’s unbearably painful going to the toilet for No2. Has anyone else experienced this after natural miscarriage? How long did it take to return to normal?

Not had the shooting pains but if it’s ‘complete’ you wouldn’t still be bleeding heavily. It’s still early days though so if you’re still bleeding after a couple of weeks give them a call. The pain doesn’t sound normal though so it might be worth giving them a call now to check

My natural miscarriage was a lot more painful than my medicated one! It was so painful for me! Mine slowed down after I passed the tissue. Unfortunately they’ll tell you to wait it out. I had shooting pains too. They told me it was fine x

Take acetaminophen and give it a couple of days. If you’re bleeding crazy heavy for more than 48 hours then please to get checked out asap. But if the flow slows down and picks up that’s pretty normal as you continue to pass products of conception. I’m sorry ❤️

The pain with #2 seems unusual to me. I would actually ask AI and see if you can find out any possibly causes. I use Chat GPT for all my miscarriage questions and it seemed to give me really good responses and help me know what to look for.
