Cot to bed transition

My 21 month old has broke the cot so I got a toddler bed she was real excited when we put it in her room come bedtime terrified won't go near it so had to put her in double blow up bed with her sister had to stay with her till she went. Feel like we have gone back 100 steps any tips please
