My 4.5 year old boy also has a speech delay, would be great to connect 😊
My little girl is only 9 months old, but I'm 100% up for meeting up. My friends son has speech delays and he's an absolute delight, he loves playing with my LG and we all practice things together
sounds like we have a plan to meet up where does everyone live we could pick a meeting place . my sons name is Felix his 4 and where he has speech difficulty to find friends where he has limited speech not many children of his own age will play with him so this is brilliant and it would be great to get a good circle of women as well.
I think it will be lovely to meet in a park and have a little picnic on a Saturday or Sunday
I live in Bromley fairly close to the Lewisham borders so any park round Lee, Blackheath, Hither Green etc. would work. My son's name is Aidan, we actually have an EHCP for his speech delay and he also struggles to make friends as all the kids think he's a bit strange, especially when he just babbles his own language at them. Breaks my heart when he joins a group and they all move away or call him weird 😢 would be great to form some friendships with others who understand the struggles x
I'm also fine to travel so I should have said that I'm happy to meet anywhere that works for you all 😊
hi sounds great . we could do a picnic and that way the children can play and be free to play we could meet in Blackheath which is lovely or if people feel safer in Greenwich Park there’s a lovely spot where it’s surrounded by flowers so we can set up our picnic . we could meet and then walk through together to a spot be like in the park. is everyone’s decision but Blackheath works for me should we privately message each other and exchange numbers so we can do a WhatsApp group might work better for us all and it’s lovely to meet you all
