Cows milk transition - FF

Sorry to jump on this but are you supposed to do this leading up to when they turn a year old or start from when they are a year old?
Al the BLW groups are adamant you wait until 1 year old, but I've started already because I was running out of formula and didn't want to buy anymore. She will be 1 in a few days though.

@JaydeMay I ask when are you switching from milk in bottle to sippy cup? We just came from her first dentist visit and dentist basically said I should be giving milk in the sippy cup like now…lol my daughter has been doing milk in a bottle and water in sippy cup but I thought I could do a bottle for a little bit longer!?
@Tracie e I'm going to attempt to change over withing the next few months, before she turns 18 months. She only has 2 teeth that have literally just come through so in not worried about her teeth just yet.

@Deborah mine will be 1 in a week but was thinking of starting it soon (just before 1) because she will be doing full days in nursery come May and they want a full tin of formula but she won’t be using a full tin so seems a waste! So it gives me a little longer to transition her as they don’t provide my formula (Kendamil) but do provide cows milk @Tracie I read on a BLW group to drop the bottle by 18 months as @Jayde said Thanks for the advice everyone
So I started with replacing 1oz of for.ula with cows milk and done that for a few days, then done 2oz, and now we're down to half and half, i have about 3 bottles worth if formula left and then we will just do a straight swap to cows milk after that.
