Nappy blow outs only in a car seat
Hi! My baby has started experiencing a nappy blowout every time he’s in the car. It’s like the car seat triggers him to go to the toilet (always when we arrive never as we set off🫠).
The nappies never leak when we are in the house, so i was wondering if it was the position he is sat in? It always seems to come out the leg.
We’ve tried different brands of nappies, different kinds of outfits and had a fit check for his infant carrier and still can’t get it to stop!
It is at the point where i have to change him almost always after a car which is stressful as often we are places without toilets. Any suggestions on how to fix???

Double nappy before car journeys? Normal size then next size over the top?

Omg same! Mines always done this..I think it's positional. You could try a pull up nappy and potentially size up and see if it captures it any better? The best thing we did was size up in vests so it wasn't too tight and sort of squeeze it up his back. It still exploded though 😑 we just make sure we're really prepared with bags for dirty clothes and wipes etc. we change him on the back seat, put plastic bags down if it's bad.. although it's really not great for the back! 😮💨 we have 2 car seats, one in each car and the egg one does this but he hasn't done it in the silver cross one, it doesn't bring his knees up as high x
