My maternity leave officially started at 39wks, but I'm actually still working doing marking, because I can backdate it to the first week of April on my timesheet. Hoping it's all done before baby arrives 😬

The midwife said it's because I'm a teacher, she said as soon as you stop your body relaxes and you sit down and BAM contractions start 😭 wish someone had told me in advance so I couldve packed the hospital bag in advance rather than saying it's a Monday job!
Yes still working - I finish Friday too and dear god this week has been a struggle… but then I remember my 4 year old is off nursery next week for Easter and remember I won’t be getting anymore rest then and almost wish I was working haha
I am, I finish this Friday and I’m 38 weeks today 😬
My last day is Saturday, 38+5🫣
I finish this Friday at 37 weeks, being induced at 39 x
I worked until 38+2 then baby Winnie put me into labour 38+3 😂 so got zero time to relax
