Breastfeeding & Poop! 💩

Hi guys, I’m a second time mum and second time breastfeeding. I know all babies are different, but my second little one can go 4 days without a poo, and then has like 3 poos in one day! Has anyone else experienced this? My little girl - my first born sometimes went a day or 2, but my little boy is completely different! 🙈

I believe they can poop as little as once a week. Breastmilk is so incredible and there is less that actually is waste.

Yes I have this with my second whose EBF. He’ll go 7-10 days. But unlike doctors I think this is a red flag. No matter how good breastmilk is they should still be pooping more. And my little guy is showing signs of constipation and pain so I’ve had to really dig into what’s happening and what’s wrong and try to fix it.

My son used to go at least once day. Now he goes every 3-5 days and has explosions when it happens. Totally normal

I've heard they can go up to 2 weeks without a poop and that's normal due to using everything in breastmilk. Less waste.

My LO poops more than I can count everyday lol I don’t know if that’s a bad thing. But my doc said they don’t have to poo but they have to pee tho. But my LO poos and pee a lot while Bf
