Kendamil & Reflux

My 4 week old was on aldi Mamia formula but I suspect she has reflux so I have done a gradual change to Kendamil and she is still being sick, possibly even worse. How long should I give it? Could it settle after a couple of weeks? Has anyone experienced this? Also feel like she sicks up so often that she’s forever wanting another feed. Any advice gratefully received. (I am doing sitting upright, burping often etc)

My baby is now 5 months old and she was on Kendamil since the beginning and had really bad reflux! Recently I changed the formula to Hipp comfort because Kendamil was making her extremely constipated and I’ve realised her reflux is much much better! Don’t know if it’s the new formula or because she’s older now! Don’t know if it helps

It’s so hard when they’re newborn I feel like every baby has a stage of adjustment to formula where they’re constipated! I see it so often! I was on Kendamil first infant cows initially but again constipation was a problem, so we put her on their goat milk formula and she was good to go ever since. It’s more pricey but that and the comfort milk have smaller molecules for them to digest easier xx

@Aimee did you decide to move to Goat milk or was it recommended by doctor? x

@Becky we decided ourselves x

@Ghazaleh is Hipp comfort a thicker formula? x

@Becky yes! Also regarding what you asked Aimee, the doctor told us so many times that the reflux and constipation are normal and she will eventually get better! But with her constipation she was in so much pain everyday I decided to do my own research

I do agree that it does get better in a few weeks, it depends how bad her symptoms are to be switching the formula x
