Is it normal for my leg to be cramping and hurting? And almost like, i've pulled something?

It's been happening pretty often for a while now, and it hurts so bad when I'm sleeping or try to get up or walk. I'm 26 weeks pregnant.

I was getting Charlie horses ( leg cramps) in my leg at night too. My sister recommended drinking liquid IV once a day or something equivalent and that has help a lot!!

@Chelsey Thank you so much. It's only on my left leg, and for me not to hurt, I have to move both legs at the same exact time when I want to get up out of the bed, change positions, anything

If it goes from your hip/butt cheek area down your leg into like the back of your knee or even down to your foot it could be sciatic nerve pain which is super common in pregnancy.

I had that when I was pregnant and it could be a nutrient deficiency. You might want to call your dr and get some labs done, in my case it was low iron

It’s usually dehydration or low magnesium. Pretty excruciating to be woken up with one of those cramps in the middle of the night 😐

Same here! Especially when I’m laying down for bedtime my calves and thighs hurt so bad. I was told by a friend that it could the cause to restless leg syndrome in pregnancy? Idk lol

YES! The calf cramps I get at night are wild. Magnesium helps significantly and drinking lots of water

You should get an ultrasound of your leg to be safe - especially if it’s just one leg

I would tell your doctor right away and specify that it’s just your left leg

Try magnesium glycinate. I take about 700 mg per day
