I heard Nectar is really good with organic fruit as the flavouring! It’s apparently not too sweet and but not salty tasting. But I haven’t personally tried it! Liquid IV is really good brand, but you gotta get used to the saltyness of it haha. I would recommend coconut water.. but even I thought it was salty and gross growing up. But when I became pregnant it was so good and was on the sweeter side. But I feel like I’m brand picky.. I only like Kosa brand coconut water (it has a red brand logo with white letters & white carton with green coconut leaves on it!) but again.. I think it’s cuz pregnancy changed my taste buds. Or many it’s just cuz I’m an adult and no longer a teenager.
I use thrive by le-vel thirst! It’s grape flavored and in my opinion super good!
Coconut water, lemon water with some salt
I turned into a body armor and Powerade gal once I hit my 2nd trimester and still will drink those from time to time my baby is 4 months old! I also second the Pedialyte freezer pops those were game changer in my 3rd trimester!
Goodonya or Cure
Just add a little bit of Celtic sea salt to your filtered water, it won’t taste like salt unless you add way too much. Or drink coconut water. I personally choose to stay away from anything flavored/ premade when it comes to electrolyte drinks, I just don’t trust they’re actually good for our bodies.
Ginger tea is great for preventing nausea
We bought sport supplement rehydration powder for me during my labour (which I never used 🙈) but it’s been great PP with breastfeeding because when they tell you that you feel like your mouth is dryer than a desert?? Check out some fun sport supplement websites (I won’t recommend any specific ones bc I am UK based and you’re US based so idk what you have easy access too in terms of short shipping times) but they do really fun flavours and also don’t taste salty
I loved roar and liquid IV packs from Costco together in my large water cup. Still doing it now while breastfeeding
Lucosade or however it’s spelt is good, any kind of sport drink without caffeine x
Thank you ladies so much for all of the recommendations!!
@Emma I had that post partum with my first!! I’d wake up in the middle of the night and my mouth felt like I haven’t had water in years??? I’m getting that now too though, probably from being dehydrated from the nausea this time but truly no one warned me about that either!
pedialyte freezer pops!
