Period post partum

Yes mine was the same, really tender, period pains and very heavy which I never used to be. Lasted about 4/5 days for me i think. Heard its totally normal x

i was in maternity pads again for mine, lasted 6 days. TMI - was brown at first then bright red, clots, stringy, literally dropped out of my like PP bleeding did, soaked a maternity pad in around 3 hours or regular pad in an hour. It didn’t slow at all just came to an immediate stop at the end. i asked about it after and completely normal x

I had some huge clots and heavy bleeding on my first period with my first child. It started about 3 months pp and it was painful! Soaked pads per the hour, went to GP & they even suggested A&E. Was worse than my pp bleeding substantially!!! They went back to normal after that though 🤣

Mine is the same! Came back 4 weeks postpartum so I barely got a break 😫 mine has been really heavy and quite big clots so I went to the doctors as it’s been going on for 12 days now! They said it was quite normal but if it got heavier, there was a bad smell or the clots got bigger then to go to A&E. They prescribed me something to slow the bleeding down that I now need to take for 4 days and if no change then to go back to the doctors again. I’m hoping that it stops soon! It’s been worse than the pp bleeding!

Mine was the same - went to GP as flow slowed to almost stopping but then came back with a vengeance. Was referred to gynae at the hospital and now on antibiotics for a suspected infection - worth getting checked out - I had no idea heavy bleeding was sign of infection. I had c section fyi
