Refusing milk

Hey, my little boy is 9 months on the 22nd and for some reason has started to refuse his formula. I’ve tried leaving more of a gap between food and bottles, tried other formulas, lowering his amount but nothing seems to work. He takes at least 4 ounces at night out of his 6oz bottles but that’s all he will take. I’m a bit stuck on what to do next and how to get him to take more. He’s probably having the equivalent to 8-9oz during the day from bottles here and there but I know this isn’t enough

My wee boys is the same age and is basically doing the same, he is taken his full 8oz at night but nothing really during the day. My oldest done the same and I just kept offering, and tbh he was ok, he’d drink more some days than others it didn’t do him any harm. I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do but I couldn’t force him and felt he most of been getting enough from food etc x

My little boy is going through this too just turned 9 months, I always find he seems to go off it when he’s teething or a bit under the weather x

Could you add some to his food?

@Lauren I do whenever I make him pancakes or porridge etc but I still feel like he’s not getting enough. Just worried he’s going to end up loosing weight and the hv putting me down at his next visit

Can you not speak to her before and ask for some advice

I don’t have any advice other than to say we are in the same boat. Feeding has been a battle from 6 months old 😩 but as you say what can you do if they won’t take it x
