Help with night diapers

We started potty training and stopped peeing at night. Maybe something to try :/ Or limit liquid a few hours before bed

How much liquid are you giving before bed? Bc my son every once in a while will pee through the diaper but only a bit. He drinks water with dinner at 5:30 and some after and 5 oz of milk right before bed. No later than 7:30.

@Sarah i did attempt potty training but my daughter isn't ready for that yet

@Maria these are the ones i tried that didn't work 🫠 they leaked the first night i put them on

@Elysha this is the problem, we usually do bath around 7:30-8pm and she often asks to drink water form the tap so ofc i offer cause she's thirsty (she doesnt always ask) then when it's bed time she drinks 5oz of milk around 9-9:30pm. she used to drink 6oz but ive already had to cut it down to 5oz because of the leaks 😕 i try to avoid the water but its hard

Oh we do bath get Jammie’s on and then read a book while he drinks the milk then sing song and go down to sleep. absolutely if they are asking for water perfect healthy habit. How much milk is she drinking during the rest of the day? Maybe just cut it to 3 oz before bed if she is preferring water anyways?

If Huggies worked well maybe try sizing up for the night only

@Elysha she drinks 4oz when she wakes up, 6oz for afternoon nap and then her 5oz before bed that's it. she also drinks water during the day

@Aly i actually went down a size cause i thought maybe her diapers were too big, i went from size 6 to 5. the smaller size seems to hold better but still not stopping leaks 😅

Hmm yeah I’m not sure then honestly it shouldn’t be that bad. Sounds like she is holding her bladder then which is a sign of being ready for potty training. We use the pampers 360 diapers and they hold a ton of pee. I have never had a problem with poop either. We switched to those around 9 months or something like that bc he wouldn’t lay down anymore to get changed. So we change him while standing sooooo much easier!
