How long did any of my first time mommas wait til they went back into the gym?

I did stretching and breath work the same week I gave birth. Once I saw my pelvic floor physio and she cleared me at shit 10 weeks pp I started pilates. Didn't go to an actual gym until about 5 months pp

@Molly I’m 8 weeks pp and wasn’t sure what to start with. Like when it comes to working out. Do you know any good Pilate workout videos i can try?

I did mine through a local studio. I'm sure there's lots on YouTube though

I'm 8 weeks this Saturday but have done walking since week 1 post partum and after a CS. Yesterday I I managed my first 8km walk again. I've done this by doing simple walk exercise at home, if you look on youtube for walk exercise. It is very simple but effective to get you going again. I'm planning on going on my first run this Saturday since I feel healed enough.

4m. I stretched and walked and did light weights before that though, just started my fitness classes at 4m that’s when I had more energy/not as sleep deprived. And just taking my baby out from 8w and hitting my 10k steps for the day, that in itself helps heaps if you do nothing else. I prefer classes though, being around people is more motivation than me doing it myself I do keep up my stretching/yoga by myself though.
