Yeah I think you probably are gonna have to wait it out if nothing is happening but I could be uneducated in that thought. When I had a miscarriage, I had no symptoms beforehand and I just started bleeding extremely heavily out of nowhere on my way into Tesco which was a difficult situation in itself. I think I was 8/10 weeks along (I can't quite remember how far along I was). I was taken to hospital and given a drip, etc and monitored over that evening and night and the next day they said id have to have surgery if I didn't pass that day but luckily I passed in the afternoon. It was a truly traumatic experience for me but I know that it's not like that for everyone and I pray that its not like that for you! I wish you a smooth journey and safe healing 💌
I had brown discharge for 1 and half week and then I started to bleed and I had cramps. Unfortunatelly doctors said they cannot do anything because that was my first pregnancy.
We saw baby at 8 weeks and heard heartbeat. Thought everything was fine as I had no bleeding or cramping. But My body took 5.5 weeks to realize baby had stopped growing / no longer had a heart beat. Baby measure 8w2d but I was almost 14 weeks along. I went for an ultrasound and found out. I ended up miscarrying at home naturally a few days after the scan. It was horrible and painful. Not to mention I saw baby and didn’t know how to react. I couldn’t flush him, so we buried him in a plant (as it was winter outside) and had a little ceremony just my husband and I. Everyone is different. So sorry. ❤️
Took about 4 weeks for my body to realize and to start bleeding. So sorry you’re going through this!
Started officially bleeding when I was around 10 weeks pregnant. Had a MMC. They said it must have been around week 7 I lost the baby. So it took 3 weeks for me to bleed x
Mine never showed symptoms and never rejected the embryo. I had a D&C at 13 weeks. Do not recommend the early termination pill as it is not effective and can end in needing a D&C anyways. Depends on where you live of course!
I'm so sorry this is happening to you, I hope you're surrounded by love and comfort. I never bled and never rejected the embryo, too. I went to my 12 week appointment to find out I lost mine at 8 weeks. They said I could be at risk of an infection if I waited, so they either wanted surgery or to do a pessary. Even with the pessary it took a few hours, but I also don't fully recommend it as it is quite traumatic to go through and see it all. And like Molly said, in some cases you need further intervention, I didn't, but it still wasn't pleasant.
Also, there is nothing the GP can do really, but they should had said you can go to the hospital to request an early scan at the maternity ward. I did, with my second, at 8 weeks (as I was scared) and they did it to reassure me. I think I called the maternity ward on my booklet they gave me, and asked for a scan, or maybe I just walked into the hospital and requested it, either way I was seen immediately and they did it
When you say the pregnancy suddenly stoped do you mean the symptoms? Do you still have a positive pregnancy test? Migraines, runny nose and cramps can all be normal in pregnancy If you are concerned you could contact the early pregnancy unit and see if you can self refer or book a private scan to see what’s happening but a change in symptoms doesn’t guarantee a miscarriage
Thank you so much mamas it’s so horrible honestly I’m so sorry if you’ve had to experience it❤️. At the moment I am just suspecting I previously had one about a year ago so it’s all started similarly apart from the migraines and runny nose. I’ve booked a scan with early pregnancy unit on Monday to confirm what’s going on
@Ceri-Ann yhh the symptoms just suddenly stopped like the nausea etc. like I just don’t feel pregnant anymore it’s weird . I am going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow and see but I think it will still show positive even afterwards. My previous miscarriage still came positive even when the baby empty sac had gone
I had a missed miscarriage.I didn’t know I miscarried until a month later when I started bleeding. So baby stopped growing at 8 weeks and I bled at 12. So took a while 😔 Sometimes symptoms come and go. So hopefully that’s the case and not a miscarriage.
@Alana I’m sorry you went through that. Mine was similar, took a month for my body to realize I miscarried and I didn’t know until then. Everything was fine at 7 weeks scan. Baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. Started bleeding at 12
@Ana sounds very similar. I’m sorry. ❤️ I see you also have your rainbow baby. Mine turns 8m next week. (He was born 2 weeks early, we could’ve had the same birth day haha).

@Alana That’s amazing! Congrats I your rainbow baby too! That’s so funny!! That would have been great 😂 My daughter was 11 days early. I just saw you lost your first LO in January, mine was in February 2023!
You can have cramps early on in pregnancy without any cause, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it will result in a miscarriage. Pregnancy symptoms can also be very mild, as well as come and go. I hope for your sake that your suspicions are wrong
@Alana I’m sorry for your loss!! I think that’s lovely what you did for him! ❤️
Do you know if you’ve actually miscarried or are you just suspecting? My body didn’t recognise I had miscarried (at 6 weeks), I was 8 weeks when it was diagnosed and then 11 weeks when I had surgery.
