Have you considered silent reflux? That really unsettled our baby.
@Rachel I'm convinced this is what my baby girl has. Any tips on how we can help her?
I’d possibly stop infacol. This made our boy worse due to reflux. Because it’s orange flavour it’s quite acidic and can upset their tummy more x
We are bottle feeding so we use aptimil anti reflux milk at nighttime and side feed her - this was a game changer for us. She had less wind and was much more settled. The HV showed us how to side feed but I’m sure you can google it. Just make sure your feet at raised on a cushion. We did try anti reflux milk all day but it gave her really bad constipation, so just at night time works really well. You can also buy cow and gate thickener which I’ve heard it good as you can control the quantity. We also use a saline spray regularly and try and keep her upright during the day. We’ve also changed our bottles three times - settled on the Dr brown ones. She’s so much better now.
You could try gripe water! Works wonders in my baby girl
Try dentinox. It’s hard to get but it’s like magic. Infacol worked for my wee girl she took it fine but my wee boy hates it. I think actually it unsettled him more. We finally got a bottle of dentinox yesterday had to drive 45 mins to get it 😂 and I’ll be ordering more online I’ve never seen my boy so settled I wish I got it weeks ago
(Gripe water isn’t commonly recommended it’s very high in sodium - says as much on the box too) my health visitor told me to avoid and it’s an olden day thing that really doesn’t do much and babies are generally just improving on their own without it. just letting you know so you don’t run out and buy it, it’s not very good
We found infacol made our baby more uncomfortable, we stopped using it and just done lots of baby massage and movement in the belly seemed to settle her
