@Anna👼👶👼👼 I was put on bed rest for about 3 weeks when we first found it and then was told it was getting smaller so I could go back to doing everything I was before. At 16 weeks it stopped completely and I was so happy because I could stop worrying so much but then yesterday I went to the bathroom and was bleeding again. This is my second baby and my first I did have health issues but nothing like I do now.
I had one with my twins and lost one twin at 10 weeks and then at 37 weeks I had a placental abruption. The doc never told me to go on bed rest. I had one in the beginning of my current pregnancy, too. I think it resolved. I'm 18 weeks. I have an ultrasound on the 28th and I'll know for then. I worry about another rupture this time but I'm taking it easy.
@Susan see thats my biggest fear because at my last appointment 2 weeks ago the ob told me I’m high risk for that happening because my placenta is also attached to scar tissue. I’ve been trying to take it easy as I can but my husband works nights and we have our oldest. Dod they by chance say what caused yours. I was told it was because of my scar tissue but didn’t find out I was high risk until 20 weeks. I’m now 22 weeks.
They never said what caused it. The doctor didn't even want to confirm it until after i delivered, even though my amniotic fluid was very bloody. She was healthy, and I was able to labor fine since it wasn't a complete detachment. I did have one cesarean, so I also have a scar, but they never said anything about it.
I also have one with this pregnancy it was found pretty early in pregnancy I had some bleeding and spotting. was told to take it easy. I’m am also high risk pregnancy. I went in every two weeks for them to watch it. I still currently have one at 23 weeks but I has absorbed a lot of it so they are not as concerned but they still take measurements on ultrasound days.
Ugh I'm sorry you're going through this. I had one with my daughter. They saw it around 8 weeks and I ended up on pelvic rest for like 12 weeks. My poor hubby lol after that it resolved completely and everything else went great!
