Cradle cap

I found some cradle cap on the top of my daughter’s head. We used dentinox when she had it before and it did help, however it made her scalp bright red and seemed to sting her eyes too, so I’m wondering if there’s something a bit gentler that also works? We’ve been using a very gentle soap prescribed by the GP to wash her hair as her skin is very sensitive, but it’s not strong enough to get the cradle cap off. Selfishly, im also worried any treatment will make her hair fall out as it did the first time! She has beautiful thick blonde hair that is just about long enough for me to start styling 😅

We've left the cradle cap in my little girls hair. I use a Tommy tippy comb to help brush it out. It doesn't irritate her or does it look bad. It might be an option if your little girl has sensitive skin

My little girl still has some cradle cap the same as you dentinox helped at first but doesn’t do so much now, I used a rosemary oil on her scalp before bed and left it ok overnight and then combed her hair and washed her hair the next morning and some came out but I’ve left it since xx

We use happy cappy shampoo, my son has quite bad eczema and it’s been fine for him

Thanks for the replies! Popped by the pharmacy yesterday and they suggested leaving in olive oil in overnight and rinsing off in the morning - we gave that a go and some came out when I brushed her hair with a comb while wet. Her scalp got a bit red from the comb so I stopped as I didn’t want to annoy her too much. Will see once her hair dries if it got off enough to be worth repeating
