Baby meeting toddlers

Hi all, My two weeks old baby is supposed to meet some friends with a toddler tomorrow. I am feeling a little nervous, as the toddler goes to nursery. Have you let your babies meet toddlers that weren’t their siblings? Do you have any tips on how to make this as safe as possible for my baby? Thank you so much in advance!!

I wouldnt worry toddlers are disgusting and will try to touch baby just keep them away lol avoid letting toddler touch newborn unless their hands washed way to many viruses that kids carry even my own dr told me that there is always something kids catch at nurseries

Yes, I was thinking of meeting in a park so they can play and be distracted/not wanting to touch or get too close to the baby 😂

If it helps most toddlers won’t be interested in the baby 🤣 especially if you are somewhere with toys/ more exciting things. My son is the only one of our friends toddlers who has been interested in our baby 😂💛 we have met up with quite a few toddlers but that’s because I have a 2 year old myself and it wouldn’t be fair to him not to still do his usual routine. Most of the time though we’ve been lucky enough to primarily be outside because of the nice weather.

I wouldn’t worry my toddler is always trying to touch her baby brother he is now 5 weeks. They may not even be interested in the baby
