Constipation

My 15 month old has had constipation on and off for a few weeks. Nothing has changed in his diet per sè but he is forcing all day and just doing tiny poos. They are hard but also soft at the same time.. I'm taking him to the gp on Monday. But I've done the usual prune pouch, upped his water intake, fibre rich foods etc but nothing helping Anyone else have any tips I could do before Monday to help? Thank you

Okkk since posting he has done 3 poos. 2 hardish and 1 normal soft stool lol Ill still bring him to gp on Monday just for check up

You can also try and cut down dairy- if he is having a lot of cows milk, plus a lot of yoghurt that can impact them as well x

@CeeCee this would make sense! He does have ALOT of yoghurt. Sometimes everyday 🥴🫠 I will most definitely cut down. Thank you x

Yeah my LO also suffers and I called drs they just said to try natural things instead of straight away jumping to laxatives. Was told banana and rice make ‘worse’ High fibre helps! I told them I already water down her milk, said that was good. I found blueberries have been my life saver!!! Super helped. Also mixing the prune pouch with her water bottle
