@Beth how old is your LO? Does it affect his ability to comfortably do tummy time/roll/sit? I’m starting to think it’s the same for my one, nothing seems to work :/
Forgot to add we use 2 scoops of carobel too! He's 6 months. Affect ability to do those things how? He sicks up when on his tummy, also will sick up when moving about generally. All our clothes are stained with the oil based milk xx
@Beth affect as in does he sick when doing them. Sounds like you’re in the same boat😅 x
Oh yes definitely. Well the time. Moving or still. Especially when sitting and leaning forwards to reach things. Everything is wet through. He just made a puddle in my Birkenstock, it's just laughable at this point 🤣 x
@Beth Ahaha 😂 Bless him, it’s tough isn’t it. do you have to feed him more (like once extra a day) to make up for the loss of milk when sick? I’m starting to worry she will lose weight being sick all the time 😅
No. He always kept a steady weight gain. So despite the mess it musnt actually be that much. It's never projectile. If it's 30ml an oz I bet he sicks up about 7/8 times and loses about an oz over the few hours before he has another bottle. He has 5/6 oz a bottle so not so much in the scheme of things. He doesn't sick up at night though which is what's making me feel it's more sphincter related at this point xx
Ps I heard the orange acid in infacol can cause babies reflux to worsen, with it being acidic. We stopped using it because it didn't help much xx
@Beth makes sense, I won’t give her any extra then I’ll just monitor her. Also I’ll try stopping the infacol too, see if that makes a difference. Thank you!
We've been on it 5 weeks and he still spits up like crazy. I used to think reflux was definitely an underlying symptom, but after changing milks, omeprazole, thickener and 2 tongue tie divisions, I think the weak stomach flap is the main contributor here. I must say he is a happy spitter now. Before there was a lot of discomfort with the acid x
