Transitioning from formula to cow milk

Little one’s 11 months old and am wondering how other people have either already or are going to transition to cows milk. He’s currently on around 23 ounces of formula a day over 3 bottles :) x

Firstly I’d start by going down to two bottles morning and night and swapping out the middle one for a meal or snack. Then some people do a straight swap, others do it by mixing cows milk with formula and increasing the amount of cows milk each week until it’s all cows milk. I’d start off with using it in cereal first to make sure there’s no reaction x

We’re down to 2 bottles and she’s just turned 11 month old today and we’ve started doing 75% formula 25% milk then will do 50/50 next week then 25/75 the week after then fully milk the week after 🤞🏻

@Toni I have just gone down to 2 bottles. And will be doing a graduate swap. Just a question. Do you still serve it warm in the bottle? Or in sippy cup/ straw cup cold?

@Rudi so I’ve just been making the formula as I normally do (hot shot) and then adding the whole milk straight from the fridge so the whole thing would probably end up room temp I imagine. I’m sticking with bottle for a few months I think as I don’t want to change too much at once 😊
