Omg same here!! Mine is 4.5 months too and it’s been a nightmare. He barely naps during the day—maybe 20 mins max—and is just cranky and overtired all the time. I haven’t been able to rest or sleep properly in over a week, I’m beyond exhausted. Sending you love mama, we’re really in the thick of it right now!
Same! She was sleeping through the night and now up every 2-3 hours 😭😭😭 I feel your pain, really in the thick of it
My little one goes to bed at 7:30, but around 11pm right through until the morning is just awful he is so unsettled and waking up screaming! Day times are all over the place sometimes he naps for an hour at a time and others 20 mins! You’re not alone I dread bedtimes, my body aches from constantly holding and rocking him! Just can’t wait for it to get better xx
It’s awful isn’t it. Sleep deprivation is the worst. We had a really rough time at the beginning, then sleep improved, then it got so much worse again. I just remember the newborn days and tell myself I got through that so can get through this. It’s a temporary phase and it will pass. When I’m super exhausted I know it’s the tiredness making me feel a bit loopy and emotional, and one good sleep straightens me out for a few more days - can you get someone to have baby just so you can have one block of uninterrupted sleep? I rope in my mum or MIL for a morning when we get desperate. Hope things improve soon for everyone!
@Hannah it’s so bad! Unfortunately my mum isn’t local and works full time as does MIL plus she’s on holiday for 2 weeks! My partner is great and takes him for a few hrs in the morning when he’s not at work so I can nap. Last night I actually managed to get him back to sleep twice without picking him up and just patting his bum which I’m taking as a small win!! Hope we all get through the phase fast!!! ♥️
I feel ur pain im a single parent and no family around and I feel like im a zombie walking around after her first wake it’s fussing and awake every hour for dummy or milk 😭😭
It’s hard! Every day different, once he goes to bed at 6pm and another day 9pm and still awake, completely off routine by now 🥲 just take it day by day and load of caffeine and in laws help so much!
