Anyone have good pacifier brands to switch to from the Dr browns brand?

My son is 8 months, but the paci he’s currently using is only for 0-6 months. I’ve tried several different brands to switch him to, but he hates them all besides this Dr browns one. Any suggestions on getting him to take a new paci? Or do you know any pacifiers with a similar shape?

following my baby used tomme toppee 0-6 and not taking any other 😮‍💨

Keep using what works for him

Phillips avent

@Charlotte I’m worried when his teeth come in it’ll affect them. Do you think he will be fine using it a little longer?

@Calleigh What will affect his teeth is prolonged pacifier use. Don't stress too much about it now and just use the comfort measures he'll take. The difference in shape between infant pacifiers and 6 mo+ pacifiers is negligible. There are better things to spend your money on

@Charlotte thank you! This is very reassuring. Didn’t really think there could be too much of an issue if he used this one for a while considering it’s the same exact shape of his bottle

We have these dr brown ones 0-6 months. He’s 16 months and still uses them

@jess oh good! Makes me a lot less worried. Thank you so much!

I’m pretty sure they make the older dummies because the base is bigger so there’s less chance of them getting it stuck in their mouth? I could be wrong, neither of mine ever took one, but I’d air on the side of caution.

We've never used them. But we go to eight classes a week, have done since six weeks old, we know a looooot of babies. All the babies in our classes that did use dummies, stopped using them looooong before this age. Mostly quoting teeth as the reason. I'd say they were removed by four / five months old on average, if that helps. Good luck

Phillips avent have a similar shape, my baby used to like those ones but since we changed the size he just wouldn’t take them anymore. Now he likes MAM

My son is almost 18 months old and is still using this one! 😂

Tommee tippee breast-like are similar to this and do a 6-18m one I think.

@Regina oh good I am glad I’m not the only one!

I use phillips avent
