We moved him last night and just popped one of the dining room chairs. Not ideal for me but hopefully his feedings will spread out soon
I was really sad for him to go in his own room but it was honestly the best thing we did. He’s so much comfier and spreads out and sleeps on his tummy. He’s not disturbed by us as much and it’s nice to not have to sneak about as much. I have a chair in the room for feeds - currently back up to two a night - and I watch the monitor an unhealthy amount but still glad he’s got his own space now x
Our little girl was 100% becoming disturbed by us and our dog who like you, sleeps in our room with us , we were going through a bit of a 6 month sleep regression/split nights so thought it would be a good time to move her into her own room, she did nap in their everyday so was familiar with it. She sometimes wakes up to feed, her room is tiny so no chair, so I just sit on the floor in there and feed her. I was originally bringing her back into our room to feed but I think she then thought it was playtime/morning. I have found she doesn’t always wake for a feed now every night. X
We moved my son over a month ago now when he outgrew the snuzpod. Hes been grand. If he wakes for a feed I carry him into our room and feed him in bed then when he's back to sleep, I transfer him again. But he only ever wakes once.
He’s at the very end of his Snuzpod now and his cot won’t fit in our room, so I’m thinking to start the change next week. I’m so scared! But I know it needs to happen as I know the longer you leave it the harder it can be. I did think about getting a space saver cot and keeping him with us but thought I’d move him first and see how it goes. We have a nursing chair in his nursery for night feeds
