pelvic pain

38+1 and suffering real bad with pelvic pain mainly at night when getting up to go for a toilet and after sitting down for a long period of time. Anyone else experiencing this? I’m hoping it means he’s getting closer to coming to be honest…

yes!! i’ve been suffering with PGP since around 28 weeks, it then eased off and wasn’t feeling the effects as much, but the last week or two it has gotten significantly worse, i can’t roll over in bed without my vagina soaring in pain, i’m 37+4 and i’m hoping it means he’s lowering down getting closer and closer to birth x

@Sinead I also had it quite early one in pregnancy and then it disappeared.. but the last week it’s started to become worse to the point I struggle to get out of bed and off the sofa.. it’s all in my groin. I’m proper waddling when I walk now 😫

Same here! 37+4 and every move is painful. My husband sometimes has to lift my legs on the sofa/bed when I want to lay down as it is just too painful and sometimes feel like i cannot move them myself. And as you both mentioned as well, turning in bed, getting up after sitting etc etc. My midwife said baby is very low so crossing my fingers we are on the home stretch!!

@Lisa on this makes me feel so much better. I’m seeing my midwife Tuesday and was hoping she would tell me the same thing! I want him out now 😫🤣
