I found pink on my pad when I went to the bathroom right now and I’ve never had that prior. I’m 23 weeks pregnant. Should I go to L&D???? (Pic in comments)

I have this right now.

I am 33 weeks and this also happened to me last month. From what they told me, (could be different for you) and i have also had cramps and some contractions. They said the area around my cervix is inflamed and irritated. And because there are a bunch of little capillaries they rupture and cause bleeding. My cervix is not dilated, no water has came out of me, ect. You SHOULD go get checked because there are multiple reasons it could happen. Like placenta detaching, you could be going into early labor, infection. Do you have any other issues like me? Or is it JUST the spotting

@Hailey I’ve been having pains on my belly but I thought it was just stretching or kicks

What the drs have told me, cuz I’ve gone twice for it. They said as long as no water leaks from you, and your pains/contractions/cramps are inconsistent, and there isn’t MORE blood than that. You should be fine. And they will most likely send you home. But again go get checked because your bleeding could be due to something different than mine

If you don’t want to go all the way to the hospital, you can try calling you OB and seeing what they say

@Lizzy it’s 10 pm on a Saturday here. My OB is not open and doesn’t have a nurse line.

Have you had sex recently? If so, it could be from an irritated cervix, which is completely normal. I wouldn't necessarily suggest L&D at this point since it's so light, but if you have any more pink after this incident or any bright or dark red, then absolutely go in for peace of mind at the very least. It's better to go in and have it be nothing than to hesitate and have it be something. Trust your gut and just keep an eye out for any continued fluid or bad pains. (I had the same thing happen around that time due to an irritated cervix with both my pregnancies.)

@Allison no sex or any sort of penetration that would cause irritation. That’s why it’s worried me

Better to be safe than sorry. I'd go get checked.
