Starting IVF this month

Hey lizzie , are u doing long protocol or short protocol ?

I have done ivf for 5 years and our last cycle we used an egg donor and now I have a beautiful baby always remember to be easy on yourself and your partner and talk to ppl on the same journey or who have been there and yes it can be heartbreaking 💔 if you don’t get the first positive test in your first round always remember that your body will show the dr how your body is taking to the meds

The shots aren't so bad once you get used to injecting yourself.

@Laura I'm doing the long protocol and start medication on Tuesday. Are you also starting this month?

@Lizzie we are also doing long protocol . Which drug are you starting with ? Our first drug was bruserlin

@Lizzie it’s scary but also the unknown is what makes it fun I would not change it for the world I found doing the needles in my thighs was good didn’t hurt as much and if your like me have a bit of belly fat then it’s good in that I am here if you feel list or down or if you have questions about anything

What’s the difference between long and short protocol? Am starting my first IVF next month/june 🤞🏽🙏🏽

Me! Had a cycle in January but had to cancel due to low response so we didn't make it to egg retrieval. Started my down regulation this morning so egg retrieval should be around 21st may 😍🤞🏻

@Laura so I'm starting with norethisterone tomorrow! How far into your IVF cycle are you?

@Chelsea I'm sorry to hear about your first cycle, wishing you all the luck for this one! I'm starting my down regulation tomorrow so my egg collection should be around 14th May if everything goes to plan 🙏🏼 I'm taking norethisterone, what medication are you taking?

@Catherine thank you so much. I feel like the thigh feels a lot more daunting than the stomach for me but I'm worried I'll be so tender after a while, I don't want them to hurt! How did you find the pessaries? (If you took them)

@Lizzie I'm on nafarelin nasal spray for down reg then Menopur for stims. Wishing you all the luck for yours too! 🤞🏻❤️
