Apparently that water is not sterile so stopped using. Only boiled (via kettle or stove) is sterile so using the prep machine may be bothering bubba
Yes! We stopped as LO would be really sick afterwards for those bottles made at home in the prep. No idea why but was fine after a couple of days of not using it.
@Amy thank you! We have unplugged it today to stop us using it for ease in the nighttime and have flasks of hot water prepped… hopefully we see a difference
We use the nuby rapid cools for all of our bottles now! In the early days of lots of night feeds we would premake the bottles and just pop them in some hot water to warm up, usually by the time the nappy was changed they were warmed enough
@Amy do you make the entire formula or do the hotshot method? I found if I do the hotshot method with the nuby then it’s a little warm for him still which is annoying as he has about 3 seconds from being awake until screaming for food 😂
When people say the water doesn’t sterilise the water it’s not true , well for Tommy tippee anyway , it only has to be 70oc and the tt one gets to 72oc so perfectly safe x it’s only other brand ones that are not recommended x
We use the hot shot method 99% of the time and it does take an extra minute! That phase of suddenly needing milk immediately did end for us at maybe 4 months but I remember it well, very well 😂
