Anyone else going through it with their 2 year old?

All of sudden he won’t eat anything other than bread and milk and an occasional chopped fruit or vegetable. And he is testing limits to the maaaxxxx. Driving me nuts all day and waking up at 4 or 5 am. Sometimes he goes back to sleep. Other times he’s up like today he’s been up since 4 am. He won’t eat. He won’t chill. I know he’s waking up early because he’s hungry but he refuses to eat anything all day. He’s been like this for almost a week. The sleep deprivation is making me very sick. I just put him down for a nap early before 12 because I can’t stay awake anymore.

Yes 2 can be such a difficult age!!! We have a very sweet 2 year old but he has naughty moments every day.

Yes!! I started giving my 2 year old organic greens in her juice and I found an organic plant based protein powder made for kids that I put in her milk. I give her snacks with multiple options a tiny bit of cheese, fruits & crackers! And above all I let that plate sit on her table so she knows that’s where her food is if she’s hungry. And she usually comes back to it. Try eliminating the snacking for a while only make him real food! If he gets hungry no snacks only real food

Are you able to eat with him? Like have dinner or lunch with him. I usually distract my kid with a book, a toy or a conversation and put food in his mouth, it works for us when he’s very diatracted. You could also try coming with him, that really helps!

@Sabrina that used to work 😥 we would eat from the same plate and he would eat a decent amount. Now it doesn’t. Distractions don’t work anymore.

@Najé can you suggest a protein powder my mom told me to try that too. Also yes I started keeping food on his little table he would sneak up and eat without I’m noticing but it’s usually like chopped fruits or something

@Najé awesome and there’s a sprouts by me. I’ll try it. Thank you 🙏🏼
