Anyone induced at the RUH after waters breaking?

My waters broke this morning at 6:30am and currently waiting to go into labour naturally. If that doesn’t happen overnight then the midwife said I’d need to be induced tomorrow. I know the RUH can get super busy so wondering what others have experienced when being induced for the same reason? I know they’re not keen to let you go over 24 hours!

I was induced at ruh before waters broke so slightly different but I went through every stage of inducing and then had to wait after the balloon for 24hrs for a space on the delivery ward.

Firstly exciting! Secondly not quite the same thing but after my two attempted inductions didn't work, they said they would break my waters when they had space however my waters then broke naturally at 4am. They finally got me to the delivery suite at 2pm when there was space to put me on the oxytocin drip. It was so busy at that time of year though, hopefully much quicker now!

I have no advice, however am in the exact same situation as you! I’ve been told I will get a call in the morning from RUH, have spent most of today researching facts and I may ask to have the induction delayed if baby is still ok. I had an induction with my first and it was horrific
