Hi how awful. I’m not sure if it’s going to be the same experience. But just to reassure you I am going into my 11th week next week and I’ve had a couple of awful experiences with red bleeding followed by brown. I’ve had a scan each time and they’ve advised everything is fine. They are unable to explain why I’ve had these bleeds but confirmed heart beat and no issues with baby. Due to the couple of bleeds I’ve now been put on progesterone to help reduce this and keep baby safe. It could be a hematoma or an unexplained bleed like mine. Try to stay as calm as possible and rest. Brown blood is usually a good sign it’s old blood so means it may be slowing down. Good luck for tomorrow’s scan.
Oh gosh, no advice but just sending positive thoughts, hope it goes well tomorrow. Whatever happens though please be kind to yourself and allow yourself time to rest. Virtual hugs ❤️
Thank you all, I massively appreciate all these messages🥺🥺🩷🩷
I’ve had the same but for 3 weeks. Then turned red and brown with clots, I had a scan on Friday (about 5 days after the clots started) and baby was all ok, heartbeat seen and wriggling about. They said it was a hematoma and could be pictured on the scan too. Sending you love 🩷
@Poppy i really hope that’s the case for us too🥺🩷thank you for sharing xxx
I had bright red, period type blood at 6/7 weeks in my last pregnancy, everything was fine and he’s now 11 months. Was terrifying so I feel for you but it’s not automatically bad news, it can be a hematoma that gets dislodged by the placenta. If you aren’t having severe cramping then try to stay positive, brown blood is a good sign that it’s not continued bleeding. Good luck!
Hope everything was ok ♥️🥺
