Hi mama’s!
I recently relocated 6 hours away from my support network (not my choice).
I’ve made some friends however they are not reliable.
I have a (almost) two year old and currently having another May baby. Last month a friend who was coming for a month to help has cancelled. So I made some calls and arranged for another friend to come up. However she has also cancelled over the weekend.
As I have no childcare arrangements I am wanting to switch to a home birth.
To be honest I’m getting annoying asking “friends” for support.
Any support is welcome.
Oh yeah I’m currently in the County Durham area.

Yes I am under them and thankfully the NHS has now outsourced to a private company. So I’ll be able to have one! Guess I just had premature panic!
@Haych I’m so pleased you’ve been offered one. I have heard this is happening but I wasn’t sure on the timescale
Thank you. Me too! I think they have only just started it again. As it’s a London based company but they have nationwide midwives. They said the NHS realised the need for women to give birth where they choose. So that’s really good.
