I'd just call them. If you spill any or she doesn't drink it in time you could go through it quickly. If she's settled on it and you know she can tolerate it I'd ask for 6 weeks worth at once, that's what we do xxx

My little one has about the same amount (aptamil pepti 1) and a 400g tin lasts 3 1/2 days so 2 tins a week

I would deffo arrange getting more now because it’s bank holiday weekend too

1 tin is bit ridiculous. Considering how long it takes the surgery and the pharmacy to process a prescription you should have at least 4. Phone and ask them to read the guidelines where it says they should prescribe a month worth of formula.

Spoken to the doctor, said I have to wait until Wednesday or Thursday before they'll give me more.... I'm beyond frustrated, it wasn't my usual doctor it was a locum

I get 6 at a time from my pharmacy - I think if you call the gp receptionist you can get them to prescribe more than 1 at a time x

You need to call them back and ask for 2 tins because of the logistics of getting it from the pharmacy, getting it ordered and it coming on time

And then when you have like a tin left or half way through one before finishing the last which is like your spare get your gp to send more out
