Milk Alternatives

Anyone have any suggestions for an alternative for milk they’ve used my 2.5 year old is still having milk at night but I’m getting through so much milk it’s unreal and I’m wondering if there’s an alternative that I can give her I’m not sure if it’s milk or it’s just the fact it’s a warm drink that she finds comforting but I’m buying bottles and bottles of milk a week and it’s getting a little much now😭

We’ve recently swapped to water overnight - we’d been to the dentist so I told her the dentist said no more milk before bed, but I leave a sippy cup with water in her room in case she gets thirsty, then we have milk in the morning instead

I feel your pain my boy still has milk on the night he is lactose so the milk I get is so expensive £1.95 for a 1 litre of milk😩 but he isn’t giving it up anytime soon!

@Georgia Aldi does it for 99p a litre 😊

Hello ladies, why do you want to cut down on milk? My child also drinks it. Is there anything harmful about it? Isn't it good for him to drink milk?

I would try and wean. You don’t want them to associate drinking something with sleep. Otherwise they’ll heavily only rely on it just to fall asleep. I would just give milk during the day. And idk if you’re giving a bottle but if so I would wean off the bottle too.
