Expressed milk

My LB is a chunk. He’s 4 months this week. He feeds entirely off boob apart from a bottle once a day. 3 oz isn’t cutting it, how much can he have ? He’s being paced fed

I was always under the impression that breastfed babies of any age only need 4oz maximum in a bottle as breast milk adapts to what baby needs as opposed to formula bottles needing to be upped when babies get bigger. However, my little one is 8 months now and I’ve just tried giving him a 5.5oz bottle of expressed milk to try to get him to sleep a longer stretch 🫠 I’ll keep you informed! 😂

That’s what I have always been told! He wants to go straight on the boob after the bottle but I don’t know if it’s for comfort or still hungry as I haven’t left him yet x

No way to tell at this age. Assume still hungry and give boob
