If you wanna do it you’d need to lie on the sheet. My hubby bought me a microblading voucher that expired in 3m I waited 3m and I was still BF, didn’t wanna waste the voucher so I booked in my microblading, on the form it asked me am I pregnant am I breastfeeding I ticked no to both. I basically lied. By then he was already 2yrs though I was casually bf at that age so he was only bf 2, maybe 3 times a day so I took the risk
@Kellie you definitely should not be promoting lying to get an unnecessary cosmetic procedure carried out. Please don’t do this OP think of the persons business and seek their professional opinion.
@Jess that’s my POINT. No medical professional will do it if you tell them you are BF. So either get rejected, or lie. Which was my last resort mine wasn’t even Botox or fillers it was microblading and already paid for. My situation was a bit different it would’ve been $600 down the drain had I not utilised my voucher when he bought it he did not KNOW about the BF thing. I would not have done it if it wasn’t for the fact that it was prepaid
No reputable aesthetician will administer it whilst breastfeeding. It is unethical and will invalidate their insurance. If a practitioner is willing to do it then they are not reputable and you shouldn’t use them anyway. If you choose to lie and something goes wrong, you will not be covered by their insurance. It’s also worth bearing in mind that if you lie, you may also risk their reputation as people will believe that they knowingly partook in an unethical procedure.
Maybe they’re right, and maybe it’s ok. But they really DONT know bc there aren’t enough breastfeeding mothers willing to take part in these studies. So there isn’t enough studies done on it. So no one knows. And I don’t think any reputable practitioner will do it if you’re breastfeeding.
You may struggle to find a practitioner willing to do it due to their insurance x
