Have you spoken to your midwife about PGP? If it’s pain in the hips and pelvis that is causing you to be unable to get out of the bed and bath by yourself it may well be that? I am exactly the same and unable to get out of the bath without assistance, sometimes I can get out of bed without my partners help but more often than not I need him to help me, especially in the middle of the night. I’ve had physio for PGP but it hasn’t helped much unfortunately! Xx
36 weeks and have been struggling with PGP since about 27/28 weeks so I’m in a similar position to you. Definitely need my partners help with a lot of what should be easy movements and it’s only gotten worse. Similarly to Jess I’ve had physio but the exercises only do so much and once I’ve been sitting or laying for a while I stiffen up and struggle to move without a hand. Can only hope it doesn’t get even worse or this baby arrives soon so I can get a bit of relief!
Completely normal since I was around 30 weeks I’ve had to ask my partner to help me out of the bath as it can be quite steep. I just make sure when I have a bath it’s when my partner is at home. Defos if you haven’t already speak to your midwife and get a physio referral
You're not alone - i have to have help too. I've got an over the bath shower so without his help for balance, I cant even get in an out on my own. I do have PGP too though.
I had a bath the other night for the first time in several weeks to help ease my back and noticed it was more difficult. I had to turn onto all fours to get up and out, I think the pain was affecting me more than the actual size x
That's not been my experience, tbh and it sounds really difficult. I'm 37 weeks, and I wouldn't say there's anything physically I can't do. If there is specific pain that is limiting your mobility I'd speak to your midwife about a referral to physio because as you said, you have a lot of weeks to go
